I was inspired to create A Misty Friday Morning and Broadway Was the Weather, when seeing a row of umbrellas propped up against the window in the Children's room of the library I work at just before we closed for renovation in March of 2022. When my library branch reopening in the summer of 2024, I created The Morning After. which pays homage to the potted flowers on our windowsill the staff kitchen.
